British Asian Trust

The British Asian Trust brings lasting change to the lives of poor people in South Asia through access to education, health and livelihoods. Founded in 2007 by HRH The Prince of Wales, the Trust has helped more than 350,000 people overcome poverty in Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

Dasra

Dasra is the leading philanthropy foundation within India. Dasra works with philanthropists and social entrepreneurs in order to make nonprofit organizations more efficient and strategic. It provides knowledge, funding and people. Dasra has been supporting Educate Girls with funding and
capacity building since 2009.

Global Giving

Global Giving is an online marketplace where donors can find projects from around the world to support. Educate Girls has been part of Global Giving’s Online Donation Platform since 2010.

Government of Rajasthan

The Government of Rajasthan (GoR) is committed to supporting social development projects as well as performing its various other roles. Educate Girls started its pilot project under the umbrella of the Governments Right to Education Initiative (REI) in 2005 and has been an important partner ever since.

International Finance Corporation

The International Finance Corporation (IFC) fosters sustainable economic development in order to help people escape poverty. A member of the World Bank Group, the corporation provides advising for businesses and governments, finances investments and mobilizes capital in international markets. The IFC has supported Educate Girls since 2011.

Letzdream Foundation

Letzdream Foundation (LDF) was founded in order to provide access to human and financial capital towards organizations focused on progress leading to empowerment of the marginalized and humanization of the rich. The LDF has been supporting the Creative Learning and Teaching (CLT) activities of Educate Girls since 2010.

LGT Venture Philanthropy

LGT VP is an impact investor that provides organizations with financial capital, management know-how and relevant networks. LGT Venture Philanthropy’s team in 5 continents strives to increase the sustainable quality of life of less advantaged people. Educate Girls has received support in funding and capacity building since 2010.

Pratham Rajasthan

Pratham Rajasthan is India’s largest non-governmental organization focused on quality education for children. The NGO’s mission is to increase enrollment in schools, reach children who are unable to attend school and to help a large number of children. Pratham Rajasthan supported Educate Girls with materials and testing tools.

Samhita

Samhita is a social marketplace that provides resources and support for social organizations. It is a place for organizations, individuals and service providers to meet and exchange services and donations. The initiative of Nadathur Trust supports Educate Girls through partnership with Samhita.

UNICEF Rajasthan

UNICEF focuses on overcoming poverty, violence, disease and discrimination that negatively impact the lives of children. In India, and especially Rajasthan, the organization has many programs that work on health, education, disease and protection for children. Educate Girls shared an MOU with UNICEF Rajasthan and the Government of Rajasthan for the project involving 500 schools.

World Bank

The World Bank is one of the largest sources of funding and knowledge for developing countries. In India, the World Bank works with the government and other partners to provide financing and advice for their projects in order to aid development. The World Bank has supported Educate Girls since 2011.

Dr. Devesh Kapur
Center for the Advanced Study of India, University of Pennsylvania

Center for Advanced Study of India (CASI) at the University of Pennsylvania is the only research facility in the United States focused on contemporary India. It aims to study and analyze important issues within India and also between India and the United States. Dr. Devesh Kapur is the director of CASI and has been supporting the Educate Girls impact study for the Pali and Jalore districts since 2010.

Instiglio

Instiglio is the first Social Impact Bonds intermediary in developing countries, supporting promising nonprofit organizations in improving and scaling impact through a combination of innovative private financing, results-based contracting and operational transformation.

The Eros Foundation

The Eros Foundation, is the philanthropic arm of Eros International Media Ltd (EIML), a leading global company in the Indian film entertainment industry. The Eros Foundation supports educations programs and works towards providing high quality learning and teaching support for targeted communities currently caught in cycles of poverty so that they can have real opportunities to change their personal futures and their communities.

Girls Not Brides

Girls Not Brides is a Global Partnership to End Child Marriage, initiated by The Elders as part of their efforts to promote gender equality worldwide. Inspired by The Elders’ leadership, a group of organisations that were already working to end child marriage have come together to form this Global Partnership.

 

 

 

 

 

10x10

10x10 is a feature film, Girl Rising, and a social action campaign, created and launched by an award-winning team of former ABC News journalists in association with The Documentary Group and Paul Allen's Vulcan Productions. 10x10 uses the power of storytelling and the leverage of strategic partnerships to deliver a single message: educating girls in developing nations will change the world.

 

EAC

Educate A Child (EAC) is a new global initiative launched by Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser of Qatar, which aims to significantly reduce the numbers of children worldwide who are missing out on their right to education. EAC provides technical and financial support to a range of international and national partner organizations. Their help will enable Educate Girls to enroll and retain 64,000 out of school girls in school.
